Our History
OMBU was founded in 1990 in Las Parejas, Santa Fe, by Orlando Castellani, with a clear idea: to create an Argentine industrial company capable of manufacturing reliable, durable tools designed for real work.
The first steps were linked to tillage and fertilization equipment, but it was from 1993 onwards that the company consolidated in the national market with the product that would become its emblem: the self-unloading hopper. That milestone marked a turning point and the beginning of sustained growth.
During the 90s and 2000s, OMBU expanded its production capacity, incorporated new industrial plants, and added technology, engineering, and specialized personnel. To the agricultural line were added transportation trailers, sprayers, spreaders, headers, grain baggers, and mixers, among other developments.
Diversification continued with the creation of the urban hygiene unit, focused on the manufacture of waste compactors and solutions for municipalities and service companies, consolidating OMBU as a multipurpose industrial company.
Today, with eight industrial plants, more than 50 products in line, and a presence in more than 40 countries, OMBU continues to grow without losing its essence: closeness to the customer, active listening, and an after-sales service recognized as one of the brand's pillars.
